Reducing Excessive Plastic Packaging
Our aim is to eventually eliminate the use of single-use plastic packaging.
We will therefore gradually remove the transparent films that currently protect our candles and diffusers.
This decision will help reduce waste as well as the use of excessive plastic packaging.
A Transition to Glass
We offer glass bottles for our liquid soaps. This initiative will ultimately allow us to eliminate the use of single-use plastic packaging.
Our 1L refills allow you to reuse your glass bottle. Simply refill your original bottle with the fragrance of your choice!
An empty reusable glass bottle is available on our website.
Product Packaging
The packaging for our solid soaps is FSC Mix certified and made in France. Sourced from controlled forests, it is produced using recycled paper.
Our Ingredients
Palm Oil – Official RSPO Certification
Our solid soaps contain vegetable palm oil sourced from controlled agriculture. La Savonnerie Royale holds official RSPO certification (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil), confirming that our palm oil comes from sustainable agriculture that is economically viable, environmentally responsible, and socially beneficial.
This oil was selected for our solid soaps because of its ability to preserve the fragrance of the soap.
We selected this exceptional ingredient for its excellent benefits for the skin. Rich in restructuring properties, it helps hydrate the skin and restore its elasticity.
Shea Butter
Our solid soaps are enriched with certified organic shea butter (harvested in Burkina Faso), at the highest concentration possible while ensuring the soap remains solid. Organic shea butter offers numerous benefits. This ingredient deeply hydrates and nourishes the skin by forming a protective layer. It helps soothe and care for the skin, particularly when it is dry or damaged.
Shea butter comes from trees that grow wild and produce fruit. The nuts are separated from their pulp, washed, prepared, and dried. The kernel containing the fat used to produce the butter is then removed. The kernels are ground into a brownish paste which, after being churned with water, produces the characteristic creamy-white shea butter.
Our Candle Wax
The wax used in La Savonnerie Royale's scented candles is natural, plant-based, and vegan. It is made from mango butter, coconut oil, and soybean oil.
This wax was chosen for its perfectly smooth and white appearance. It does not release toxic fumes.
In terms of traceability, our wax manufacturer is based in Spain, while our fragrances are created and made in Grasse, France.
For greater safety and naturalness, the wick used in La Savonnerie Royale's scented candles is made from 100% cotton.
